HOPE is looking for a Product Development Lead to join the team at our Stockholm Head Office. As Product Development Lead you will be responsible for the full product development process–from transforming design ideas into finished products delivered to our warehouse. You will work closely with the Design team to ensure that each product not only reflects the brand vision and identity, but also meets commercial targets in terms of margin, cost, quality and delivery. - End-to-end product development and production across all product categories such as tailoring, outerwear, technical wear, light woven, knitwear, leather and accessories 
- Translate design briefs into technically and commercially feasible products aligned with margin targets 
- Drive cost calculations, price negotiations and margin follow-ups in close collaboration with suppliers and internally 
- Actively contribute to assortment planning from a product perspective, balancing brand vision with commercial potential 
- Evaluate prototypes and samples with focus on fit, quality, cost optimization and scalability 
- Lead fittings and secure clear communication of comments to suppliers to ensure efficient and accurate production processes 
- Ensure critical path adherence and on-time delivery of samples and bulk production 
- Continuously analyze product performance and contribute insights to future collections 
- Identify opportunities for product improvement, cost efficiencies and smarter ways of working 
- Work strategically with suppliers to build long-term partnerships and improve quality, sustainability and profitability 

- Relevant education at college level 
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product development  
- Experience working across several product categories is required 
- Strong understanding of costing, pricing structure and margin calculations 
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Swedish is a plus but not mandatory 
- Strong time management and planning skills 

- Business-driven with a strong commercial mindset 
- Analytical and comfortable working with numbers and targets 
- Structured and solution-oriented with a hands-on approach 
- Confident decision-maker with negotiation skills 
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle and profitability drivers 
- Passionate about improving sustainability performance and reducing environmental impact 
- A team player with outstanding communication and collaboration skills 
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
